On January 10, 2022, the shore radio station Polish Rescue Radio received information, which it relayed to the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center in Gdynia, about the crewman of the research vessel "Dr. Lubecki", who complained of chest pains. The crew of the rescue ship "Huragan" and a Navy helicopter set out to help the 40-year-old Polish citizen. The ship "Dr. Lubecki" was located about 44 nautical miles north of Ustka. The task of the rescuers was to medically evacuate the injured man as soon as possible. The man was already aboard Rescue 815 helicopter after 20:00 and conscious was transported to Slupsk Hospital.
