Project of strategic importance within the meaning of Article 2(5) of the General Regulation

Project type:

Maritime safety: retrofitting of maritime rescue services and services responsible for the safety of navigation, including through the construction and modernization of specialized vessels.

Planned scope of tasks:

1. Construction of a new multipurpose specialized rescue vessel.

2. Construction of 6 new SAR-2000 type specialized rescue vessels.

3. Purchase of 2 specialized rescue vessels (cabin rescue boats) for the Vistula Lagoon and Szczecin Lagoon.

4. Purchase of 7 pieces of equipment (heavy-duty operational vehicles with portable communications equipment) interoperable with SAR 2000 type units and specialized cabin rescue boats.

5. Purchase of 3 specialized rescue vessels (specialized boats) for combating oil pollution in sheltered and shallow waters.
